Don’t take my word for anything I say here. I encourage everyone to find their local library, either in person or online, and do some reading on any and all topics and/or source material to see if your interpretation is different from mine.
I also encourage everyone to support their local library with donations and volunteer work, or just by taking advantage of their occasional book sales. Remember, these aren’t stores, and they only get so much public funding. Librarians have to eat, too.
If you’re in my neck of the woods, the local library is the Onondaga County Public Library.
The Library of Congress is the largest research facility in the United States, and is available for public use.
The British Library is the largest library in the world, and is included here because I am a lifelong Anglophile.
If you are already a member of your local library and wish to borrow eBooks from them, I recommend the Hoopla app, which downloads the books right to your phone.
Project Literacy is an international campaign to get everyone on the planet reading by mid-century, and that is the noblest goal I can think of, so support if you can.
