Miser Masterpiece: A Beginner’s Guide to Painting on a Budget
Have you ever wanted to create your own paintings, but either didn’t know where to begin, or thought you couldn’t afford lessons? In this eBook, I detail the entire process, from mindset to brushstrokes, in just a few short chapters, in accessible, friendly language for under two dollars. An excerpt:
I know, it may seem confusing and daunting. It’s not. In time, it will take far more time to describe it than it will to actually go through the process, like being able to write: when you’re writing something down, you have to think of what you want to say (“that was a really impressive dinner at that wedding reception…”), the overall effect of the words (“Is ‘smorgasbord’ or ‘feast’ the concept I’m trying to get across here?”), the shape of each individual letter (“an ‘m’ has two humps, right? Or is it three?”), how to connect each individual letter, how to hold the pen, keeping in mind grammar and spelling and composition and on and on, all at the same time. When you put it like that, it seems like a complicated process even though actually writing something down is something you can do almost unconsciously once you’ve Gotten The Hang Of It.
